Furious Femmes is proud to showcase 'Sports Mode' by Fine Artist Lilo Amaral at Gallery 46, a series of 16 paintings that shows plus size bodies taking part in different kinds of sports. LILO explains she wants to share a message that “anything can be done no matter who you are” after realising the lack of representation for different kinds of bodies in the sport scene. Each figurative painting features various larger figures, which remain genderless in different colours, sizes and poses drawing energy and literally robustness in these bodies in their activities.
